Why do we wear uniform?
School uniform promotes equality and inclusivity, as well as complementing a whole school culture and approach. It prevents students feeling pressured to wear certain types of clothing, taking away the pressure of deciding what to wear each day and in turn increasing pupils feeling of security. Uniforms also make pupils easily identifiable.
What is the uniform?
The children wear school uniform of navy and grey, with embroidered sweatshirts or cardigans. We expect the children to not only behave impeccably but to look impeccable as well! We encourage children to have their shirts tucked in and take a pride in their appearance.
We have a summer uniform of gingham blue and white dresses for the girls and encourage everyone to have a school hoodie for trips and outdoor PE and sports fixtures.
